Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Mitchell County, North Carolina. The job is in a busy laundry. Day to day you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
