Pipe TIG welder — Coffey County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Coffey County, Kansas. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer 1+ years on the tools preferred.
