The role involves: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Rotating shifts.
