Formwork erector — West Lothian

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork erector in West Lothian, Scotland. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. Day-to-day duties: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Full-time, day shift.
