Argon welding operator — Stanton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Stanton County, Nebraska. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
