Vacancy available: tile installer (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile installer in Bay County, Michigan. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. On a typical shift you will fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
