Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Schley County, Georgia. The job is in a toolroom. The role involves set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
