Great opportunity: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Gloucester County, Virginia. The job is at a new-build housing development. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel On the job you will handle: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
