Blocklayer wanted in Edmonson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Edmonson County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 6+ years on the tools preferred.
