Scaffolding charge hand — Highland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Highland, Scotland. You should have: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms On a typical shift you will plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground. We offer £140 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
