AC installation technician — Clarke County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Clarke County, Alabama. You will work on new-build apartment projects. Day-to-day duties: • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes You should have: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • Can read electrical and piping schematics 3+ years on the tools preferred.
