Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Harlan County, Nebraska. You will be based on a road construction project. The role involves: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Full-time, day shift.
