Fabricator-welder — Gwarzo

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Gwarzo, Kano State. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Full-time with occasional weekends.
