Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Montgomery County, Georgia. The role involves set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
