Industrial sewing operator wanted in Marion County

Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Marion County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Six days a week, one day off.
