Vacancy available: cnc lathe setter (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Habersham County, Georgia. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Six days a week, one day off. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
