Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Your main tasks: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Full-time with occasional weekends.
