Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Potter County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a die and mould making unit. On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Part-time with flexible hours.
