Groundworker — Iowa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in Iowa County, Iowa. The job is on a high-rise construction site. The role involves set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. You should have: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day 5+ years on the tools preferred.
