Marble mason — Jackson Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a marble mason in Jackson Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a stone processing yard. On a typical shift you will seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish. You should have: • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
