Bar bender and fixer — Pipestone County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Pipestone County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
