JCB operator wanted in Blount County

Join our team: we are hiring a JCB operator in Blount County, Tennessee. You will work at a stone quarry. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Day to day you will keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
