Concrete placer • Kimble County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in Kimble County, Texas. Day to day you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Meals and transport allowance provided.
