Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Shelby County, Iowa. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
