Trowel-trade bricklayer — Cowley County

Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Cowley County, Kansas. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
