Tyre technician — Albemarle County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre technician in Albemarle County, Virginia. Day to day you will handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
