Structural MIG welder • Camp County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Camp County, Texas. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
