Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Vermilion County, Illinois. The role involves: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift.
