Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Brown County, Minnesota. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Food handler / hygiene certificate On a typical shift you will score the top of loaves before baking; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
