Crane operator — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Washington County, Tennessee. You will work on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control.
