Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Montgomery County, Kansas. The role involves: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
