We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Pierce County, North Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch.
