Pipe tig welder — Aiken County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Aiken County, South Carolina. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
