Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites On the job you will handle: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
