Precision welder — Bourbon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Bourbon County, Kentucky. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
