Brick mason wanted in Dare County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Dare County, North Carolina. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
