CO2 welder wanted in Itasca County

Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Itasca County, Minnesota. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
