Gtaw welder — Calhoun County

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Calhoun County, Michigan. You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
