Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Lee County, Virginia. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel 1+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
