Hydraulic press operator — York County

Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in York County, South Carolina. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Meals and transport allowance provided.
