Vacancy available: horizontal milling machine operator (New Mexico)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Chaves County, New Mexico. The job is in a die and mould making unit. On the job you will handle: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Part-time with flexible hours.
