Fettler wanted in Oconee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Oconee County, South Carolina. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 2+ years on the tools preferred.
