Urgent requirement: chef de partie (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a chef de partie in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking On the job you will handle: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Prepare the mise en place before each service Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
