Sausage maker — Teton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Teton County, Idaho. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Your main tasks: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Season and marinate meat on request What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
