Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Meade County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle.
