Now hiring: lathe operator (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Cayuga County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
