Dogger — Quitman County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Quitman County, Mississippi. Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals 4+ years on the tools preferred.
