Prep cook — Ogemaw County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a prep cook in Ogemaw County, Michigan. The job is in a hotel kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays On a typical shift you will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
