Groundworker — Orleans Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a groundworker in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a high-rise construction site. You should have: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
