Turning centre operator — Columbia County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Columbia County, Georgia. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Meals and transport allowance provided.
